LAS VEGAS (AP) - Police in Las Vegas say three people have died and a man was critically injured in an apparent shooting at a home.

Officer Jose Hernandez says a neighbor called police about 4 p.m. Tuesday to report gunshots at the home on La Sombra Street. Officers found the bodies of two women and a man inside the home, which is near Smoke Ranch Road and Jones Boulevard.

Hernandez says police don't believe there are outstanding suspects, but the investigation is ongoing.

Neighbor Karen Javier tells the Las Vegas Review-Journal that a family of four, including two adult children, lives in the home. Javier's son, Andrew Newkirk, says he was the one who heard gunshots and called police.
