RENO, NV - The second annual Pies with a Purpose fundraiser in April 2014 raised $14,000, according to the Eddy House.

Lynette Eddy with the Eddy House says guests were invited to join some of the area's best chefs as they created pot pies.

Guests enjoyed food from Wild River Grille, Bowl, Brewer's Cabinet, Noble Pie Parlor, Java Jungle, JAX on the Tracks, Homage Bakery, and Tournant Pop Up. Beer and wine was provided by Lagunitas Brewing Company, Sapphire, and Southern Wine and Spirits. Locally-roasted coffee was provided by Wood-Fire Roasted Coffee.

There was live music, a raffle and an auction featuring a private dinner for ten with food made by the owner of La Vecchia.

The Eddy House is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping young adult males who've aged-out of the foster care program make a successful transition to independence.
