Man Killed After Driving Fiery Car into Reno Building Identified

RENO, Nev. -- Police have identified the man killed after he crashed his car into an industrial building in south Reno Saturday.

Stephen Christy, 56, of California was killed when he crashed his fiery car into the side of an industrial building in the 1100 block of Trademark Drive.

The building was vacant and the fire caused little damage to the actual structure. The vehicle, however, was destroyed and the driver was pronounced dead.

At this early stage in the investigation, police do not know if alcohol or any prior medical condition may have contributed to the crash.
