Panzer Transferring from Nevada

RENO, Nev. - Kevin Panzer has decided to transfer for his senior season.

The University confirmed the move on Friday in a press release. He joins fellow juniors Devonte Elliott and Jordan Burris in leaving the program. Head Coach David Carter said in the release “I wish them success in the future."

Panzer started 30 games last season, averaging 4.8 points and 4.3 rebounds per game.

Burris played in 95 games and started 22 in his three seasons at Nevada. The 6-7 guard averaged 4.1 points and 2.3 rebounds during his Pack career.

The 6-10 Elliott appeared in 98 games and started 11 in his three years in the Silver & Blue. He averaged 2.7 rebounds and 2.7 points per game.

This leaves Nevada with three open scholarships for next season. The Pack has already signed D.J. Fenner from Seattle Prep, and got the verbal commitment from A.J. West of Monroe Junior College in New York.

Fenner, a 6-foot-6 guard, was the Washington State Player of the Year, averaging 27 points per game. The 6-foot-9 West led the country in blocked shots
