A teen girl is in critical condition after her car flipped in Pleasant Valley Tuesday afternoon.
Officials say she was headed south on old 395 near Rawhide Drive when witnesses reported seeing her car swerve into the on coming traffic. They say she managed to avoid a school bus and two other cars before her car hit a tree, spun around and flipped.
Rescue crews were able to get her out of the car and she was taken to Renown Medical Center in Reno. Traffic was reduced to one lane in both directions while crews cleared the scene.
Officials are looking into whether alcohol or other distractions may have played a part in this crash.
