GOLCONDA, NV - An officer-involved shooting is being investigated in Golconda.

According to the Humboldt County Sheriff's office, about 9:40 Wednesday night, deputies were called to an address in Golconda, east of Winnemucca, for a possible domestic battery involving two male adults.

By the time deputies arrived, one of the men involved had left the scene. Deputies tracked down that man, Seth Berg, to another location in Golconda.

As deputies tried to talk to him, a truck was spotted leaving that location. As the truck headed down the road, it narrowly missed hitting a deputy, according to a news release

That deputy fired several shots at the truck as it drove by; bullets hit the truck but not the driver.

A chase then followed. The suspect eventually stopped and was arrested. Neither the deputy nor the suspect were injured.

The 29-year-old Berg faces several charges, including Assault with Deadly Weapon, Domestic Battery and DUI.

His bail is set at $24,500.
