CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) - There is no talk in the Nevada Legislature of moving government workers out of the state-sponsored health plan into private insurance exchanges developed under President Barack Obama's health care law.
While lawmakers in Washington state are considering moving some public sector workers there into exchanges to save money, such a proposal was not part of Republican Gov. Brian Sandoval's $6.5 billion general fund budget proposal.
The topic has not come up in budget hearings before the Senate Finance and Assembly Ways and Means committees.
