LYON COUNTY, NV - Lyon County will soon be home to a meat processing plant that will employ several hundred people.
A company known as Lassen Meat Processing has received county approval for a plant near Wabuska in the Mason Valley.
The plant will be 17-hundred acres, and will handle cattle, hogs, goats and sheep.
The owners say they expect to be up and running within the next two years.
