Nevada's Brett Roy Named Defensive Performance of the Year
Nevada's Brett Roy was named the Defensive Performance of the Year during the All-Star Football Challenge on Sunday.

RENO, NV - Nevada's Brett Roy was named the Defensive Performance of the Year during the All-Star Football Challenge on Sunday. Roy beat out 16 other finalists for his performance against Boise State in week four of the season.
The Wolf Pack defensive tackle had a season-high 9 tackles, including two for loss, a sack and one pass breakup in the Pack's 30-10 loss to the Broncos.
Roy also joins McMurry’s Jake Mullin named Quarterback Performance of the Year, Purdue’s Akeem Shavers named Marines Running Back Performance of the Year, and Miami (OH)’s Nick Harwell named Mercedez-Benz Receiver Performance of the Year.
