Nevada's Fajardo Misses Cut for Maxwell Award

RENO - Nevada's Cody Fajardo did not make the cut as a semifinalist for the Maxwell Award.

Fajardo was one of the 30 initial candidates for the award, which is given out every year to the top quarterback in college football.

He has completed 67.8% of his passes this season, throwing for 1,750 yards and nine touchdowns with just one interception. He has also ran the ball 84 times for 313 yards and five more TD's.
