RENO, Nev. (AP) - Nevadans have paid tribute to victims of the Connecticut shooting rampage with a memorial service and vigils.

About 150 people attended a service Sunday at the Reno First Congregational Church to remember the 26 teachers and schoolchildren who were killed in the second-deadliest school shooting in U.S. history.

Organizer Rajan Zed says the multi-faith service was designed to show support not only for the victims, but for their families, friends, emergency responders and others affected by the tragedy.

About 30 people turned out for a prayer vigil Saturday afternoon outside the Capitol Building in Carson City. The event was sponsored by the groups Fighters Against Child Abuse and Fighters Against Bullying.

A group of community and business leaders also staged a candlelight vigil Saturday in Carson City.
