Nevada Outlaws Drug Called 'Bath Salts'
The state legislative commission on Wednesday approved a ban that was passed last month by the Nevada Board of Pharmacy. It prohibits sale or possession of the substance.

LAS VEGAS (AP) - Nevada legislators are outlawing sometimes-deadly designer drugs called "bath salts."
The state legislative commission on Wednesday approved a ban that was passed last month by the Nevada Board of Pharmacy. It prohibits sale or possession of the substance.
Bath salts can cause heart palpitations, disorientation, extreme paranoia and violence. The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports the drugs are blamed for at least two deaths in Nevada.
The drugs are found in smoke shops under names such as Vanilla Sky, Purple Wave and White Lightning. Users typically snort or smoke the substance.
The regulation doesn't ban the kinds of bath salts added to tubs for their fragrance and cosmetic benefits.

Lets just outlaw everything. Lets outlaw chewing gum too, because you never know someone could try and swallow it and choke to death. Or how about tabasco sauce? Someone could throw it someones face and use it as a weapon. Give me a break, if the government would just lift the prohibition on marijuana then kids wouldn't be out there experimenting with stuff you put in your bath tub.
