RENO, Nev. - The University of Nevada and head men's basketball coach David Carter have reached a five-year contract extension.
The extension is worth $2 million. The deal will run through the spring of 2017.
In three seasons at the helm, Carter has a 62-39 record overall. He is the reigning WAC Coach of the Year.
Nevada will begin play in the Mountain West Conference next season.
