CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) - Nevada has signed a three-year memorandum of understanding with Alberta, Canada to promote opportunities in unmanned vehicle systems, including drones.
The agreement was announced Monday by the Governor's Office of Economic Development.
Nevada has applied with the Federal Aviation Administration to become a UVS test site.
Gov. Brian Sandoval and economic development officials say Nevada's partnership with Canada will give the state's efforts to develop an aerospace industry international recognition.
