RENO, NV - Are you a lover of craft beer and ale?
The second Nevada Craft Brewers Festival is coming to Wingfield Park on Saturday, October 5, 2013, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Festival attendees can taste local brews from at least 19 breweries from across Nevada. Brewers will have a minimum of two selections from their 100 percent Silver State lineup of beers and ales, according to an official with Vetter PR.
New this year will be a battle of the brews as two collaborative beers will be tapped for the first time, one from the north and one from the south end of Nevada, according to an official with Vetter PR.
A ticket for the festival costs $25 when purchased in advance and $30 when purchased at the gate. This cost includes a souvenir tasting glass and unlimited beer for the duration of the festival, according to an official with Vetter PR.
Officials say admission for designated drivers is $5.
Tickets are available at the following brewery locations: Great Basin Brewing Company - Reno and Sparks, Silver Peak Brewery and Silver Peak on the River, The Brewer's Cabinet, High Sierra in Carson City, Sierra Tap House, StoneyHead Brewery, Brasserie St. James, Minden Meat and Deli, and the Reno Homebrewer.
The festival is open to people aged 21 and over.
