Nevada Air Guard C-130s Return Home

RENO, NV - Members of the Nevada Air National Guard's 152nd Airlift Wing returned home to Reno on Saturday after a four-month deployment. They were in Kuwait in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

When their aircraft arrived at the Nevada Air National Guard Base, the more than 30 airmen were greeted by family and friends.

"Being away from my family was very hard," said Senior Airman David Osborn, who hugged his wife and kids when he got off the plane. "But now I'm home and I get to enjoy the next month off with them. I love them and I missed them and I'm glad I get to spend my time with them."

"I am so relieved," said Amber Osborn, his wife. "Finally! I can have him back and everyone together again."

These guard members had conducted airlift and airdrop missions throuhout Southwest Asia to include Afghanistan. This culminates the unit's third deployment in four years with all 113 operators and maintainers returning home safely.
