MINDEN -- Careflight has just left the scene of a motorcycle accident at Douglas High School.

KOLO 8 News Now viewer Ronald Brotherton sent in these photos. He happened upon the scene as first responders were just arriving at about 9:50 Monday night.

Brotherton tells KOLO 8 News Now the people on the superbike, or "rice rocket," lost control and went through the fence of the high school.

Several emergency vehicles were on scene, but we given the all clear around midnight.

The Nevada Highway Patrol tells KOLO 8 News Now they were called to assist Douglas County at the crash. Dispatchers saying the accident is not in any roadway, that it's actually in the parking lot of the high school.
