SPARKS, NV - The Nevada Highway Patrol says two crashes Tuesday morning have been cleared.
NHP says one lane at McCarran north of Glendale in Sparks was blocked because of a multi-vehicle crash around 7AM, but all vehicles have been towed or moved out of the way. There is no word regarding a cause yet.
NHP says there is property damage but no major injuries.
NHP has also cleared the scene of a head-on crash with minor injuries at the intersection of SR 445 (Pyramid Highway) and 446 near Pyramid Lake. One person was taken to a hospital via Care Flight, another by ground ambulance, but troopers say both have been released after being treated.
That crash is being investigated to determine a cause, but troopers say no alcohol or other drugs played a part.
