Motorcyclist In Critical Condition After Crash With Vehicle

RENO, NV - A motorcyclist is listed in critical condition after an accident with a vehicle Monday morning.

A 48-year-old woman was headed east on Mill Street west of Edison Way when she and the 37-year-old motorcyclist collided.

The motorcyclist sustained a fractured skull and a broken leg and was transported to a hospital.

Reno police say the driver of the vehicle is cooperating as the investigation continues.

The Reno Police Department wants to remind everyone that wearing proper DOT-approved helmets with other safety gear when riding any motorcycle can help prevent serious injuries.

Drivers of motor vehicles are encouraged to check traffic twice for motorcycles and to share the road safely with them.
