UNDATED (CNN) -- Two teens in South Georgia are charged with first-degree murder in the death of a baby.
Police arrested 17-year-old De'Marquise Elkins and a 14-year-old boy who isn't being identified because of his age. They are accused of trying to rob a mother who was out walking in Brunswick with her 13-month-old son.
The mom, Sherry West, told police that when she told the teens she didn't have any money they shot her in the leg and shot her baby in the head.
Today (Saturday), West reacted to news of the suspects' arrests.
"That I hate you and I don't forgive you, and that you killed an innocent human life, and that I hope you die for it. And that's how I feel."
"No one would blame you to feel like that."
"You know, because this is the second child that people have taken from me in a tragic way, and I'm so afraid to have anymore babies now. I tried to raise really good kids in a wicked world. So, I hope he dies for what he did."
West says, in 2008, her 18-year-old son was stabbed to death in New Jersey. She moved to Georgia after his death.
Now, she says she can't live in Georgia anymore after what happened and plans to move back to New Jersey.
