CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) - More than 162,000 Nevadans have cast ballots in the first three days of early voting.
Figures provided Tuesday by the secretary of state's office shows 125,312 people have voted in person at early voting locations, while another 36,786 ballots were received by mail.
A break down shows of those who voted in person, 48 percent are Democrats and 35 percent are Republicans. The other 16 percent are either nonpartisan or registered as a minor political party member.
In Clark County, nearly 90,000 people have already voted. In northern Nevada's Washoe County, more than 21,000 votes have been placed.
Early voting began Saturday and ends Nov. 2. After that, people will need to vote at their specified polling place Nov. 6.
