RENO, NV - We will see scattered snow showers more off than on through the rest of the day. Temperatures in the lowest valleys including the Truckee Meadows should stay just above freezing for the rest of the day. That means the snow that we do see will continue to melt as it hits the valley floor.
Mountain roads are still restricted with chain requirements and the Winter Weather Advisory for the Tahoe basin continues until 4pm this afternoon. The highest elevations could see around a foot of new powder.
