University officials tell KOLO 8 News Now that the stibnite specimen that disappeared from the W.M. Keck Earth Science and Mineral Engineering Museum has been returned, anonymously. The investigation is continuing, and the material is not yet ready to go back into the museum for public viewing.

RENO, Nev. -- Secret Witness is offering a reward for anyone who can help track down a missing mineral.
On April 16, the UNR Police Department was notified by the Mackay Mines Keck Museum that a display mineral was missing.
The mineral is called Stibnite and is valued at $30,000. Police think the mineral was taken on April 8 and might be in two pieces by now. The full mineral weighed up to 30 pounds.
The mineral was brought to the museum from the White Caps Mine in Manhattan, Nevada.
