RENO, Nev. -- Late last night at around 1 a.m., a dumpster fire started
across the street from Diamonds Casino in Reno off of Sixth Street in Reno.
Firefighters say they think someone started the fire in a dumpster right off the side of Metric Motors Limited, a used car and automotive repair shop. They say the dumpster caught fire, shattered the window and spread to the inside of the shop.
The fire was contained immediately and the damage was minuscule. No one was inside the building and no one was harmed during the fire.
What started the fire is still under investigation. Police are urging people to call Secret Witness at 322-4900 if they have any information regarding the fire.
