Phoenix, Ariz.— Outfielder Alfredo Marte was recalled by the Arizona Diamondbacks, the Reno Aces announced today in correlation with the Arizona Diamondbacks.

In a different roster move, Jordan Pacheco was added to the Aces roster on a Major League rehab assignment. Pacheco is listed as a catcher but is expected to get time at a variety of positions with the Aces.

Marte’s .326 average is tied for fourth in the Pacific Coast League. In 75 games with the Aces, he has 45 RBIs, 44 runs scored, 14 doubles and 11 home runs. His .947 OPS is fifth in the PCL. It’s the second call-up of the season for Marte who was recalled by the Diamondbacks on May 2 and hit .227 in 11 games.

Pacheco was claimed off waivers from the Colorado Rockies on June 12 and placed on the 15-day disabled list with right shoulder tendinitis on June 25. In eight games with the D-backs, he batted .375 (3-for-8) with a double and two runs scored.

In a corresponding move to Marte, the Aces activated outfielder Dustin Martin from the disabled list.
