Squaw Valley, Calif. - Julia Manucso extended her own record on Thursday, winning a race on her own home mountain.
Mancuso won the Giant Slalom at the U.S. Nationals, finishing the two runs in 1:39.50. That was .88 seconds faster than Mikaela Shiffrin, who finished second overall.
It's Mancuso's16th U.S. Championship. That's the most wins by any skier in history, male or female.
She'll go for another title tomorrow in the Super-G.
