FALLON, NV - One man is in custody after a chase led police from Lovelock to Fallon early Wednesday.
The Pershing County Sheriff's Office says about 1AM, deputies were called about a man who may be suicidal with handguns at a truck stop. When deputies got there, he was gone, but a Lovelock police officer spotted him and tried to pull him over. Instead, the driver led police on a chase west on Interstate 80 into Fallon.
The driver went through a series of spike strips before leaving his truck in a field and running off. Churchill County deputies and Fallon police found him after daylight in a ditch several hundred yards from the truck.
32-year-old James Beresovoy surrendered and is being questioned.
