SPARKS, NV - Sparks police are on the hunt for the man accused of trying to rob a slot machine attendant at the Smith's Grocery Store on Baring Blvd. in Sparks late Monday night.
They say around 11:00 p.m. a man armed with what looked like a steak knife demanded cash from the slot attendant. He didn't end up getting any money, and he took off.
The attempted robber is described as white, in his mid 30's, around 6' to 6'2" with a muscular build, and a scruffy beard. He wore a white long sleeved tee-shirt and a dark baseball cap.
