RENO, Nev. -- A driver accidentally shot himself in the leg after a road rage confrontation.
A Reno Police Department (RPD) lieutenant tells KOLO 8 New Now two men pulled their vehicles over along North McCarran near Rancho San Rafael Regional Park Saturday afternoon. They got into an argument. One of the men did have a gun, but the verbal fight ended without any physical confrontation.
As the man with the gun was getting back into his vehicle, his gun went off and the bullet hit him in the thigh. Emergency workers took him to the hospital. The RPD lieutenant says no charges are expected to be filed at this time.
