Man Gets Six Months Jail for Stalking Female Athletes

MINDEN, NV - A man who pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of stalking has been sentenced to six months in jail.

59-year-old Rodney Skan was arrested in May after videotaping a female athlete during a track meet at Douglas High School. It was discovered that Skan had additional tapes of other girls at sporting events throughout the area and go as far back as ten years.

He has been banned from schools and sporting events across northern Nevada.

Skan has been in jail since his arrest in early May.
