LEMMON VALLEY, NV - The Washoe County Sheriff's office has charged a driver with DUI causing substantial bodily harm after he hit a boy riding a bike in Lemmon Valley Friday night.
Jesse Michael Todd II failed a field sobriety test at the scene.
He was arrested and transported to the Washoe County Detention Facility where he was booked without incident.
The 16-year-old victim died of his injuries Saturday afternoon.
WCSO spokesman Bob Harmon tells KOLO 8 News Now that Todd swerved his vehicle on eastbound Seneca Drive and struck the boy.
No word yet on if Todd will face additional charges.
