RENO, NV - Two young boys have been kidnapped, and their mother hopes residents in Reno and Lake Tahoe will keep their eyes open for the two boys.

An Amber Alert was issued late Thursday for 9-year-old Ben Cleary and 7-year-old Henry Cleary. Roswell, Georgia police saying they were last seen with their father Daniel Cleary.

In a phone call with KOLO 8 News Now the boys' mother, Theresa Nash, says Daniel had recently undergone treatment at a rehab facility in California. It was only in October when Daniel Cleary regained shared custody. The two boys were spending their first week with their father this week.

Nash says the boys were to keep in contact with her daily. The last time she heard from the two boys was December 22nd. She filed a missing persons report on December 24th. Nash says on the 23rd, Daniel Nash had his last ping on his cell phone: he accessed the internet, and the phone went dead.

Nash says Daniel Cleary is very close with his extended family members who live in Reno and Lake Tahoe. She says, "We really do want this on the evening news because his whole extended family is in Reno and Tahoe." While Nash won't go so far as saying Cleary is on his way to Northern Nevada, she did tell Altanta ABC station WSB-TV, "He could be heading to Florida, California and Nevada. He has family in all areas."

Daniel Cleary and Ben and Henry are believed to be traveling in a 2002 silver Jeep Grand Cherokee with temporary Georgia tags #10742627. They are thought to be traveling on west side of Nashville TN on Interstate 40. For more info contact Roswell PD @770-640-4160.
