Kap Fever Hits Reno

RENO, NV -- Kaepernick fever has gripped Reno as former Nevada player Colin Kaepernick heads to the Super Bowl. The 9ers quarterback used to work at Silver and Blue Outfitters, a Nevada store at Meadowood.

"He was humble, genuine, he was kind of the same guy you see," a manger at the store said.

The store, which ordinarily sells everything blue and silver, is also selling 49ers red jerseys. Several people were waiting for merchandise to arrive. The store said Kap's number seven jersey has been popular.

"I wanted to see if i can get a Kap jersey, one for my husband as well," a shopper said.

There has also been attention paid to Kaepernick's tattoo artist.

A Silver and Blue Outfitters manager said he hopes Kap will return to sign autographs some time.
