Kaepernick Sharp in Preseason Debut

SAN FRANCISCO - Former Wolf Pack quarterback Colin Kaepernick was sharp in his preseason debut on Thursday night.

Kaepernick played one series against the Denver Broncos, leading the 49ers to a field goal on the opening drive.

He finished the game 4-for-4 for 38 yards passing. He also had one carry for six yards and a first down.

Kaepernick led the 49ers to the NFC title last season and a trip to the Super Bowl.
