RENO, Nev. (AP) - If you thought it was hot in Reno last month, you were right.
The National Weather Service July was both the warmest July and the warmest month on record since 1888.
The average temperature for July was 80.2 degrees, which is 5.3 degrees above normal and surpasses the old record of 80.0 degrees set in July 2007.
The highest temperature for July was 105 degrees, reached on July 1, 2, 20 and 21.
