RENO, NV - The Washoe County Sheriff's Office is investigating an incident at Manogue High School's Safe and Sober Graduation Night on June 1st.

The event is held annually for graduating seniors. The case involves a student who allegedly took marijuana-laced cookies to the event. The cookies were subsequently eaten by fellow students.

An interview with acting President of the Catholic school Jim Toner, confirms the incident took place.

Toner says once organizers discovered what had happened, they cut the event short and called parents to pick up their children.

Toner says a letter was mailed out to parents describing the incident in general.

Parents were told to contact Washoe County Sheriffs Office if they wanted any more information, as it is now their investigation.
