CARSON CITY, NV - Truman Walker, 67, was found deceased in his cell at High Desert State Prison, according to an official at the Nevada Department of Corrections.
The official says Walker was found dead in his cell on Friday, November 8, 2013.
Walker was committed in 1985 from Elko County for Sexual Assault with Substantial Bodily Harm and was sentenced to life with no parole, according to an official at the Nevada Department of Corrections.
The official says Walker was paroled in January 1999 and was re-admitted to the Nevada Department of Corrections in September 2000 for pleading guilty to open and gross lewdness.
The Clark County Coroner's office will perform an autopsy.
