Inmate Back In Custody After Walking Away From Washoe County Work Crew

Washoe County Deputies have captured an inmate who walked away from a work crew in Washoe Valley. According the Sheriff's office, the crew was working near Davis Creek Park at the time.
It was a 6 man crew with one supervisor, and around 9:00am the supervisor noticed he only had 5 inmates in sight.
A K-9 unit and additional deputies were brought in, and they began to search for the inmate.
Around 45 minutes later a resident about a 1/2 mile away spotted the inmate hiding near his home.
With the help of the K-9 unit and the resident he was taken back into custody without incident.
