In-Home Care Provider Arrested for Stealing Personal Checks

RENO, NV - A woman has been arrested and charged with exploiting an old and vulnerable person.

Kenisha Wright-Abeene, 23, was arrested by the Sparks Police Department for stealing and forging the personal checks of a 91-year-old victim, according to an official with the Sparks Police Department.

Wright-Abeene was an in-home care provider for the victim and was stealing the victim's checks for two weeks, according to the Sparks Police Department.

The amount of money stolen and what it was used for is unknown.
