Suspect Arrested in Fallon Hotel Shooting

FALLON, NV - Reno police have arrested the suspect in a shooting in Fallon that happened September 13.

The shooting was shortly before 2PM at the Overland Hotel. When called to the hotel, the Fallon Police Department found 30-year-old Holly Wilcox with a gunshot wound to the arm. She was taken to a hospital by ambulance; her condition hasn't been released.

The Fallon Police Department identified the suspect as 32-year-old Justin James Lovett, who had three felony arrest warrants outstanding. He was considered armed and dangerous.

Sunday, September 22, bicycle police in downtown Reno spotted Lovett arrested him. He faces charges including: Use/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, False Statement to Obstruct Public Officer, Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Battery with a Deadly Weapon, Trafficking Schedule I Controlled Substance 28+gram, Domestic Battery 3rd Offense and Ex-Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
