Statement from St. Mary's:

"In light of the recent news regarding one of our employees, we wish to inform the public that we are cooperating fully with the Reno Police Department and the employee has been suspended.

We are disappointed by this event and deeply apologetic to the victim and family and have already begun working with them to remedy the situation."



RENO, NV - Reno police have arrested a phlebotomist at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center accused of sexually assaulting a patient.

Police were called the evening of Wednesday, August 20, 2014 to the ER on a report of inappropriate sexual conduct between an employee and a female patient. 32-year-old Bryan Samson is charged with one count of assault for groping and digital penetration.
