Sheriff's Office Booking and Records personnel have verified that Michael Reynolds' Probation Violation charge was an error and has been corrected. Since the charge no longer stands, Reynolds' bail has been set at $25,740.

RENO, NV - Washoe County sheriff's deputies have arrested a man held at gunpoint by a homeowner after a home invasion Wednesday morning.

Deputies say shortly before 7AM, 23-year-old Michael Reynolds of Sun Valley drove his sedan through a fence and into a home on Miwok Court, then walked into a nearby home, where the homeowner used a handgun to hold him until deputies got there. No shots were fired and no charges are expected against the homeowner, as deputies say everything he did was lawful.

Reynolds is charged with Burglary, Failing to Stay at an Accident with Property Damage, Destroying Property of Another over $5,000, and a Probation Violation. Reynolds was booked into the Washoe County Sheriff's Office Detention Facility without incident and is being held without bail.
