SPARKS, NV - A homeless man has been accused of stabbing another man with a homemade sword, under a freeway overpass.

On September 26, just after midnight, under the I-80 overpass at Kietzke Lane, Sparks police found the victim with a stab wound to the leg. That victim, along with another witness, identified Daniel Lowe as the suspect.

Calhoun had made a sword approximately 18 inches long. He was arrested for Battery with a Deadly Weapon and transported to the Washoe County Jail.

The victim was taken to Renown Medical Center to be treated for non-life threatening wounds.
