RENO, NV - Veterans looking for work have some help on the way in the form of a workshop designed to successfully transition them into the workforce.

The "Mission: Transition Civilian Career Workshop" is Saturday, October 27 at the Home Depot on Summit Ridge Court, from noon-4PM.

With more than 720,000 unemployed military veterans in the United States, and many troops still returning home, The Home Depot recognizes that this motivated community of service men and women can benefit from assistance in translating their military experience into civilian terms.

During the workshops, veterans and military personnel will participate in sessions focused on job search strategies, resume optimization and interviewing tips. Registration for the event is now open. Attendees must register online in advance of the workshop at careers.homedepot.com/military.
