LAS VEGAS (AP) - A hiker is dead after falling at Calico Basin in the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area.
Las Vegas police Lt. John Liberty says another hiker reported Saturday afternoon that the man had fallen an unknown distance.
He says that no one witnessed the fall and it isn't known when the man died.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports that Clark County firefighters, the coroner's office and police search and rescue all responded.
The man's name hasn't been released.
