Federal Building Clear After Report of Suspicious Package in Reid's Office

RENO, NV - A spokeswoman for Senator Harry Reid's Reno office says a suspicious package there turned out not to be dangerous, and the staff is back at work after a brief evacuation.

Hazmat crews were called to the Bruce R. Thompson Federal Building in downtown Reno after the package was found around lunchtime Wednesday.

There's no word yet what was in the package or specifically where it was found, but Reid's office says the concern is over.
