CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) - Nevada health insurance exchange officials say the bill is in mail. Or it will be soon.

Officials on Friday said a computer glitch caused delays in sending out bills for February coverage.

The invoices should have been mailed by Jan. 15 and show a due date of Jan. 25.

Officials say the problem has been fixed and some bills were sent Friday. The rest will be mailed by Monday.

A spokesman says Nevada Health Link has a grace period for premium payments to ensure continued coverage. The February deadline is Feb. 24.

Xerox State Healthcare is the private contractor that designed and set up Nevada's online insurance portal.

Company officials apologized for the billing delays and said March invoices will be mailed on time.
