RENO - A fund has been created to help the Metzker family following the death of Jaimie Metzker.

44-year-old Jaimie Metzker died Monday after a long battle with cancer. She leaves behind three sons: Tommy, Tanner and Luke.

It was back in 2011 when the boys lost their father, JK Metzker. JK, a longtime Reno sportscaster, was hit and killed by a car after a Wolf Pack football game.

KTVN-TV, where JK worked for nearly 14 years, reports the couple's boys will live with Jaimie's sister and her family.

Funeral plans for Jaimie have not yet been finalized.

If you'd like to help the family, go to any Wells Fargo Bank and donate to the Metzker Family Fund. The account # is 6266239182. It's best to reference the fund name - and account number when making a donation.
