RENO, Nev. (Nov. 12, 2012) – In honor of Thanksgiving, Bully’s Sports Bar & Grill hosts a cornucopia of events to bring the community together Nov. 21 and 22. From free Thanksgiving dinners to the sports bar’s annual Turkey Bowling party, Bully’s serves up an extra helping of holiday cheer this Thanksgiving.

Beginning at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, Bully’s lends a helping hand to the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows during the ninth annual Free Community Thanksgiving. Join the community for a dinner from 4 – 7 p.m. including all the fixings – even pumpkin pie – at the Boys & Girls Club’s East Ninth Street location. Take a family photo to commemorate the day or take part in a card-making station as a salute to the troops, among many other activities that are set to take place.

Later that night, head to Bully’s #3, on the corner of Pyramid Highway and North McCarran Boulevard, or Bully’s #4 in Carson City to work up an appetite at the sports bar’s 13th annual Turkey Bowling contest. During the event, participants hurl 12-pound frozen turkeys down makeshift bowling lanes for a shot at 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes including Cash, Bully’s Bucks, and free beer. Sign-ups are free and begin at 8 p.m. Nov. 21, before the start of the “fowl” competition at 9 p.m. When Turkey Bowling begins, Bully’s doesn’t “spare” the drink specials, which are offered throughout the night’s festivities.

Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 22, Bully’s #3 serves up an extra reason to give thanks: a free dinner. From 12 – 5 p.m., Bully’s continues to offer its full menu of tempting tastes while also serving up a free Thanksgiving dinner with all the traditional trappings. The feast is perfect for those who don’t want to cook, or clean this holiday; college students who can’t make it home; or for sports fans that want an extra helping of Thanksgiving goodness while enjoying the day’s many games. Either way, all members of the community are invited to feast with the Bully’s family this Thanksgiving.
