RENO, NV - Fire crews have contained a brush fire in the Mayberry Park area of west Reno, not far from where the Hunter Falls Fire burned in May.
The fire burned about ten acres in light brush with little wind, according to Truckee Meadows Fire Chief Charlie Moore. It was fought with two helicopters and several ground crews from Truckee Meadows, BLM, NDF and Reno Fire, plus the US Forest Service, in whose jurisdiction the fire was in. That's who is investigating to determine a cause.
No structures were threatened.
